House Manager: Andover, MA WORK Inc., one of NE's most progressive providers of services to adults with disabilities is seeking exceptional people who are committed to work that make life better for others. Currently, we are looking for a House Manager who will support individuals served in their own home by promoting independence while empowering and enhancing their quality of life.Responsibilities include but not limited to:• Assisting in the development of maximum independence, responsibility and self-worth• Integration of Quality of Life ideals into daily management and program development• Preparation and implementation of program goals, individuals' service plans and treatment plans.• Nurturing positive relationship with individuals, families, guardians and service providers• Providing for appropriate healthcare, medical and dental needs and promoting healthy lifestyle choices.• Directly supervise assistant manager, direct care and relief staff.• Interviewing, hiring and training staff• Planning, assigning and directing work.• Addressing complaints and solving problemsThis position requires a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Education, Social Work or related field. Preference will be given to qualified applicants with experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and previous supervisory experience. Salary for this position is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
