This is exempt 40-hour a week position is responsible for the daily and ongoing operation of all facts of Adult Family Care (AFC) and the Shared Living Program (SLP).Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Ensure and safeguard consumers' human dignity, rights and liberties• Oversee the daily operations of the assigned programs• Responsible for the staff and provider recruitment and oversight• Maintain effective and professional communication with Director of Residential Services as well as all staff in the programs• Responsible for the oversight of on-time submission of administrative paper work• Responsible for oversight of the consumers' Case Management• Supervise and coordinate clinical services• Participate in agency planning and development including participating in work teams to solve problems and share ideas.• Treat everyone encountered during the work day with professionalism, respect, and courtesy.• Provide crisis intervention and on-call beeper or cell phone coverage.• Other duties, as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities• Responsible for supervising all AFC and SLP program staff.Qualifications• General knowledge of related clinical services• Valid drivers' license and satisfactory driving record.• Acceptable background check including a criminal records history check.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills• Demonstrated word-processing and spreadsheet skills.• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as a team member.• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as regulations, policies, procedure manuals, and safety rules.• Ability to write formal and informal reports and correspondence.• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from subordinates, management, funding sources, consumers, family members, and business and community contacts.• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages.• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and apply common sense understanding to draw valid conclusions.Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree in relevant human services field.
