Pool Director Position at a family oriented private country club.A seasonal position for an individual with experience scheduling, supervising youth staff, and managing the daily operations of a busy pool and member-driven club in Boston metro-west.Requirements:CPO certifiedRed Cross WSI, Lifeguard, and First Aid/CPR certifiedJob expectations:• Full-time, summer season (May-September) (suggested hours: Sun-Thursday 7:30-3:30), Club opens Memorial Day weekend and closes on Labor Day.• Perform Pool Operator duties: daily maintain the equipment, cleanliness and chemical balance of the pool and pool area.• Develop Policies & Procedure which regulatory requirements and support Club operations. • Ensure that the pool deck and physical surroundings of the pool are clean, washed and well kept.• Hire, train, and manage pool guard and instruction staff. • Supervise (daily) a group of 10-15 guards, swim instructors, and pool program staff.• Coordinate and implement all Pool Development programs including Red Cross lessons, Summer Fun, Tad poles and Swim team.• Create and implement summer guard and swim instruction schedule for all pool staff.• Ensure a safe, organized, and positive environment for members to enjoy.• Supervise and track member and guest attendance.• Collaborate with other Club departments including tennis, golf, and administration.• Develop a respectful and assertive relationship with members, being willing to both respond to questions/requests and remind of rules.The characteristics of an ideal candidate include:Responsible, positive, reliable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, outgoing, friendly, confident, able to serve with a smile, excellent team-leader, good verbal and written communication skills.If you are interested in this position please send resumes or summary of qualifications to this email.
