The Fitness Together North End studio sets the bar for today's fitness trends and workout facilities. Located in heart of Boston's North End, we offer one-on-one and small group training (PACK) sessions in a state-of-the-art, two-floor facility. We like to think so!FTNE is currently hiring part-time professional and hard working personal trainers that are available to work weekly morning shifts.The ideal candidates are certified fitness trainers with both one-on-one and group training experience, are upbeat, and team players. This is the job for trainers who want to be part of a successful and fun fitness environment that dedicates itself to making a real difference in people's lives.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Creating individualized, progressive programming and instruction in total fitness, based on the needs and goals of our clients.- Conducting small group training sessions and one-one-one private training sessions.- Performing fitness evaluations and working with clients on their overall fitness goals, nutritional support and motivation.- Assisting in studio operations: Opening the studio, greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling, cleaning, etc.- NO selling or floor hours are involved!Qualifications:- Minimum of one year personal training in a credible establishment.- Nationally accredited Personal Training certification REQUIRED.- Current CPR/AED certification.- Bachelor's degree in kinesiology, exercise science, sports management or a related field preferred.- Must be dependable and be available from the hours of 6AM-noon Monday-Friday- Must be ambitious, driven, enthusiastic, energetic and personable.Hours:- Available to work part-time hours from 6AM-NOON M-F are required.
