Diagnosys designs, manufactures and markets a range of automatic test equipment and services for the support and maintenance of high value electronic circuits. Working mainly in the defense, mass transit and industrial sectors, we provide support solutions that keep electronics working.Jr. Technical WriterWe are seeking an entry-level Technical Writer for a position in our Technical Documentation department. We will rely on you to write, edit, and update Diagnosys customer documentation according to engineering and style requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with various worldwide engineering teams, editors, and the Senior Technical Writer to develop customer documents.Responsibilities: Research, write, and revise material for customer documentation. Attend project design review meetings. Edit peer documents. Take digital photographs of hardware for use in documents. Edit photographs using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. (Preference will be given to those with Photoshop experience.)Qualifications: English or Technical Writing degree with strong technical background, or equivalent. Proficiency with typical documentation software packages (e.g., AuthorIt, MS Word, Photoshop, and Illustrator). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to work full time onsite during normal business hours and occasional overtime to meet deadlines. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, lift, load, and operate test equipment, and work in a smoke-free workplace.Benefits:We value our employees' time and efforts.
