If you are a college student or an aspiring journalist, you may be looking for valuable resume-building experience. We're one of the fastest growing and most-widely read Boston sports blogs and we're looking for talented fantasy football bloggers to join our team. If you are comfortable answering any of the following questions, you should apply ASAP:- Why did Drew Brees throw five interceptions? What should we expect next week?- Who are the top 100 players in fantasy football?- Should I pick up the Bills defense this week? Who should I drop?- I'm trapped in bye week jail. Can you bail me out?EXPECTATIONS - You must post at least two items per week.- You must check your email daily and be willing to take on a variety of topics.- You must know your audience. Take the initiative to suggest posts that will do well with our readers.- Communication is key: let us know what you'd like to blog about, and talk with other team members about the best way to approach a topic. REQUIREMENTS - You should be at least attending college, if not already graduated. We have a few college students on staff and a few journalists in the workforce. BENEFITS - Invaluable experience. Your work is in the spotlight of the critical fantasy sports fan (along with many other sports fanatics). - Enjoy the benefits of a start-up atmosphere. You'll be part of a blog that's positioned to go big places and do great things. - Work from home. We don't have an office (yet!), so you are expected to submit all blog posts online and work from home. - If you're a journalism student, then you know it's important to have as many clips as possible. This opportunity is a perfect way to build up your portfolio of work.- Build your following on Twitter by promoting yourself in conjunction with our blog's Twitter account.- Our bloggers have gone on to work with ESPN, WEEI, 98.5 The Sports Hub, Comcast SportsNet, Sports Illustrated, ESPNRadio, Glamour Magazine and Bleacher Report.OTHER CONSIDERATIONS- This position is unpaid, but opportunity exists for future earnings if you consistently demonstrate your value to the team.- You don't need to be a journalism student/major.
